I believe that good Salespeople are made, not born. I came to that conclusion having spent more than forty (40) years Selling and observing the undisciplined approach to Sales that so many of my colleagues employed. From that experience, I developed a repeatable sequence that Salespeople can learn to become more effective. There’s no other profession in the world that assumes you’re born with the skills you need to succeed. More astounding is that Sales is the only profession in the world that has no expectation of practice. Great surgeons aren’t born – and neither are great Salespeople!

David Rubinstein, Creator of The Sell Like Hell Sales System
David Rubinstein is a graduate of the University of Maryland, having majored in American Studies and receiving a Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education.
After teaching in the Baltimore City Public School System, David started his sales career selling season tickets for the Baltimore Orioles (MLB) and then for the Washington Bullets (NBA) and Washington Capitals (NHL). After 2 ½ years as Director of Sales of the Capitals, David became the Director of Marketing for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Stints with TCS Sports (a sports programming syndicator) and KDKA-TV preceded 10 years as Director of Sales, and then Director of Broadcasting, for the Oakland Athletics.
David started “SportSales,” a sports marketing and media company, in 1989 and the “Sell Like Hell Sales System,” a sales training company, was established in 1996. Since then more than thousands of Sellers in myriad industries, from sports marketing to construction supply to contact lenses, have partaken of SLH.
